Amazing video about a bridge keeper who is forced to choose between either saving his son or saving a train full of people.
This movie is a parallel to what Jesus Christ
has done for us. God sent his son Jesus to die in your/my place. Jesus
sacrificed his life so that you and I could live. The father in the
movie had
to make a choice in that spilt second, either to save his son by not
pulling
the lever or killing his son to save others. The most moving scene in
the
entire movie is when the father stands and cries in front of the train
as the
onlookers on the train gaze at him, having no clue that this man had
just
sacrificed his son to save them. Just like today, many people do not
know that
God had sent his son to die in their place. God offers eternal life to
anyone
who will confess his/her sins and believe in his/her heart that Jesus
died and
rose from the dead.
Hello world, my name is Daniel Abraham. I am passionate about serving my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This website is intended to share the love of Jesus Christ. I have also penned some articles.
My
testimony
The second incident happened when I was
coming back home from college in my 2nd year. Our college bus had
dropped us at
Koyembedu bus stop. I had crossed one half of the road and standing on
the
median, very close to the intersection, I was waiting to cross the
other half.
I had looked straight, then to my left and I was about to take a step,
then for
some reason declined to take that step or some force did not allow me
to
proceed. Within milliseconds, a speeding vehicle almost flew past me,
only
centimeters separated us. Had I taken that step, I would not be alive
today.
Maybe God sent an angel to save me. Psalm 91:11 says, “For he will
command his
angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” Some people may dismiss these events as mere coincidence. I don’t think so, there are many such incidents that took place in my life, and these are just two of them. Someone has rightly said that it's amazing how many coincidences occur when one begins to pray. Maybe it was the prayers of my family members that saved me. You and I may not be aware of the potential accidents from which God rescues us every day. There is a God in heaven and His eyes are always upon us. |
